Munch Eatery is a restaurant located in Ansonia Ct, with a cafe, deli, and bakery. They serve baked goods from scratch, hand crafted coffee, and unique homemade foods for breakfast and lunch. The eatery is family-owned and focused on delivering quality food with quality ingredients.

Munch is a place where you can truly feel like you are in the warm company of family. We worked closely with the owner and head baker to establish branding that delivered this message and designed social media posts and icons to help share the Munch story.

Moodboard + Color Palette

Before designing anything, we met with our client and discussed her goals for Munch, brand values, and attributes that she wanted to be reflected in her branding. Next, we identified keywords that stuck out to us and created various mood boards to get a sense of the style she preferred. This was the final mood board and color palette.

Logo Design

The logotype is taken from the owner’s mom’s own handwriting. This is meant to emphasize how the brand is family-owned and operated. We chose green as the primary color to give the branding a fresh, homemade feel. We added crumbs as an element to give the branding a little bit more of a playful touch.
